Squaw Valley – Freeride World Tour

Ever heard of a day late and dollar short. That is kind of what is happening in Squaw. Last week Squaw Valley received over 5 feet of snow, leaving perfect conditions for a competition on the Tram Face.

Everything was looking great and the Freeride World Tour was set to ski the Tram Face. And then…………..it rained.

The Freeride World Tour spent yesterday looking for alternative sites. There is a storm coming. Last night Squaw received 6 inches of snow and it is supposed to snow all day. The Tram Face has not been ruled out 100%, but Squaw will need a lot of new snow for the venue to be safe. The competition most likely will be held on Friday. Stay tuned for more info.
