Off to France
The Freeride World Tour made a tough choice on Tuesday and decided to cancel the competition. With feet of snow in the forecast, it didn’t look likely that the competition would happen by thursday. I am incredibly disappointed. I really wanted to ski the Tram Face, maybe next time. It is always hard to see into the future, but it was difficult to see the blue skies in Squaw Valley today and know that we could have competed on the Tram Face. It is time to get over it and move on.
I am flying to Tignes, France today for the third stop of the Freeride World Tour. I am so excited to get to Europe. Tignes is one of my favorite resorts in Europe and I can’t wait to ski some big faces. The first possible competition day is scheduled for Sunday. For more info: www.freerideworldtour.com
