Last year was here Stefan Thomas, an exfreestyle from usa, but this years was impossible because his university, and two years ago was here Charly Ligety, Ted´s brother.
We are trying to find a coach for the freestyle ski team, a coach for the alpine team and a coach for the snowboard team.
LifeExperience is a recently-founded sport club seeking candidates who have extensive experience in the realm of snow sports. Our philosophy is to provide a fun, professional, and safe environment for everyone. In LifeExperience we strive to be innovative in sports-education by emphasizing teamwork, enthusiasm and the love of sports.
For this coming season, we offer the position of ski club coordinator (colaborator). We are seeking candidates with the following profile:
• Responsible, serious, professional, and dynamic people, with and a good level of competitive skiing.
• Happy, fun, and motivated people with a passion for education, training and life.
• Available to work from the months of December through mid-March.
• Competitive experience in other sports as well as an alpine ski coaching certificate would be desirable.
Duties include coaching kids in free skiing, gate training, bike riding, watching and analyzing ski training video, tuning skis, trampoline training, and teaching skiing to the younger groups of kids. Most weekday mornings are free.
In return for your hard work, LifeExperience will set you up with free accommodations in a house or apartment, transportation to and from Granada and the Sierra Nevada Ski Area, a ski pass, and a stipend ranging between US$1,000 aprox, depending on experience.
This is a unique opportunity to live in Granada, Spain for a short period of time and expose yourself to a new language, culture, and way of life. Granada is a vivacious, historic city with many sites to visit and activities to occupy your free time. LifeExperience is your chance to be a part of a great ski club coaching the next generation of ski racers in the heart of Southern Spain. [Winter-weather in Granada]
